A question about : Squeaky's Old Style Indexed Collections

Thanks to Squeaky and all the wonderful thrifty old-stylers for all their work on this - it's inspiring. Do look at our Thrifty Ways charity book too.

Update July 2013: Sadly our wonderful board guide Squeaky who was the driving force behind this has passed away (see book of remembrance). This index has now been renamed in his memory.

We have a number of different indexes here on Old Style. Listed immediately below here are indexes on many of the subjects that come up most often. Each of these indexes are in different threads and each has been compiled and is maintained by one of our members, thank you all.

Further down this thread is the MEGA Index which is list of around 3,000 threads on subjects not covered by an index of its own.

  • Bump .........
  • Have I linked this one to the "Quick search help" thread that's in the main Welcome sticky?
I think that all told I did three of these type of posts over the years.
  • I have just bought a mini oven from Argos for Ј13.29 as only half of our grill works and I hate having to put the oven on just to cook one or two things.
I was wondering if anyone else uses one of these and what settings do you use it on if cooking jacket potatoes, potato wedges etc?
If you have one of these what do you use it for mostly?
It has broil, bake and toast settings.
    Ta.

  • Hi SB
I've never used one myself or even seen one so can't offer any advice myself There is a previous thread on Mini Ovens, so I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the information together
    thanks

  • Thanks very much, off to take a look now.
  • Just thought i would give this a bump as some may not know where to find the indexes
