Insanity.

Anyone done it/doing it now? Has it worked for you?

Did you buy the dvds or did you go to a class?

A couple of friends and family members have done it in the past, but I don't know if it's any good. The whole package costs around Ј100, which is A LOT of money, especially if it gets used the odd time and them shoved to the back of the shelf and never used again!

I've been reading reviews online, but you can't tell how reliable they are.

Any info appriciated :-)

A question about : getting started with running

i'm considering taking up running.
i'm moderatly fit as i already attend a couple of fittnes classes. but would like to do a bit more.
apart from the initial outlay for clothing an a good pair of shoes, it's free!!
i dont want to train for any marathon of that sort of thing, just get a little bit fitter.
so could anyone recommend a good running website or magazine to help me on my way, or even personal advice?

A question about : Getting from Olympic stadium to coach park

Hi

I am looking to travel to and from the Olympic park on the same day by coach.

I have tickets for Athletics which ends at 9.55, and the coach leaves at 10.45.

Does anyone know a realistic time it will take to get from the Olympic stadium to the coach park?

I've looked at the Olympic park map and it only looks about 1km distance as the crow flies.

(I know I need to allow time to exit the stadium as well).

A question about : Ice-skating gloves

Hubby and I are going to commence ice-skating lessons shortly but we have been advised to take gloves with us. Are there are gloves you would recommend, based on experience, which are more suitable for ice-skating for beginners?

BTW is there anything else we should get for these lessons?

A question about : Paralympics

Hello, can anyone tell me how the paralympics will be different from the Olympics, apart from obviously the athletics have registered disabilities. I'm not a big fan of massive crowds so thinking I may try and get a ticket for this event instead? It would be good to see inside the Olympic Park, but will everything still be up and running - the events seem to be slightly different and I heard that they expect half as many visitors for the para game.
I personally think their achievements are all the greater.

A question about : Post your Gym Membership cost

Hi All

Just wondering what everyone is paying for their Gym Memberships? Individual membership, off peak, and which Gym. Are they any good facilities and service wise?

Currently paying Ј33 PM for LA Fitness. A Nuffield Health opened up across the road from them but not popped in yet to ask prices but want to be prepared for when I do nearer to my contract end.

A question about : Lots of athletics tickets on the site now (Wed evening)

Hope this helps someone who wants a ticket. Looks like every session and every price category available..

Edited to say there are also lots more tickets for a wide variety of events, not just athletics
