A question about : Illegal bank charges

Hi there,

After following the instructions on this website and attempting to claim back Ј755.55 in 'illegal' charges from Nat West, they offered me Ј375 in full and final settlement. I rejected this threatening them with court and they have just written back basically saying that they will go no higher than this offer and that if I want to go to court then so be it. My questions are:

A question about : HELP! bank charges every month!

Never used this before haha, but basically I'm a single parent on income support and its hard enough to scrape by but I get bank charges at LEAST once a month, i try my best to make sure money is in but its so hard.

And its only for a day or so that the money isn't in for, I've asked for an overdraft of just Ј50 to give me a bit of leeway in case there's no money in but the bank said no because I always have bank charges.

A question about : Barclays Reported to Credit Agencies Incorrect

Hi - hope you can help,

Got a cheque for Ј300 quid from Barclays this morning stating that they've made an error in the way that they've reported information about my business account to Credit Reference Agencies and how it may have affected me gaining or increasing credit.

Cannot find anything about this on't'internet and was wondering if this is something anyone else has come across or can shed any light on?

Hello,

I went through all of my cards and loans etc abpout 18 months ago and was able to claim back about Ј80.

I've had lots of credit cards and loans but rarely selected payment protection cover on them.

I'd like to see if I missed anything (I don't think i did) and so am happy for a company to do this on my behalf as i don't want to go through the process again.

I have a couple of questions about my NatWest Advantage Gold account.

In summer 2006, I applied for a loan by 'phone. During the conversation, I signed up for an Advantage Gold account. My recollection is that by signing up for the Advantage Gold, I was increasing my likelihood of being accepted for the loan. I was accepted for the loan.

I still have the Advantage Gold and the fee is now Ј15 per month. I know it used to be Ј12.95 and possibly it was less than that previously.
