A question about : When Do 'Off Peak' Trains to London ACTUALLY Start?

Hi everyone,

I commute to work from Hitchin to London every day. My usual morning route is Hitchin to Moorgate via Finsbury Park / Kings Cross (depending on delays etc), and my route home is Moorgate -> Kings Cross -> Hitchin.

I currently get the 8.52am or the 9.01am arriving in Moorgate at around 9.45am, and the 6.23pm or 6.43pm from Kings Cross home.

A question about : First Great Western

Hi,

I've sent off to First Great Western for some tickets to be refunded that were booked online - one was an Advance ticket that I couldn't use as the train was cancelled and there was no suitable alternative.

The second one was just a straight refund for an unused ticket.

Any ideas how long I will have to wait before FGW process my refunds on the tickets? All I can find on their website is the length of time that I have to claim in - not when I'll actually hear back from them!

A question about : adding an extra person to a train booking

I think I know the answer but just in case....

I've booked tickets for myself and DS using our friends and family discount card. If OH decides he'd like to accompany us is there anyway he can be added?
Or will it be full price for him as he didn't book at the same time as us?

I have got a Friends and Family Railcard. I often travel with my 5 year old disabled son to hospital appointments and sometimes go on day trips with him and my 3 year old daughter.

I was delighted to see the Ј10 off on the Martin Lewis money saving site and bagged one of them. We booked our train tickets. We are having a day out in London in mid November.
