Southernrailway cancelled my full booking and I was forced to pay 3x the cost

A question about : Southernrailway cancelled my full booking and I was forced to pay 3x the cost

Hi everyone,
title=Have

Long story short, I booked two advance journeys on southernrailway.com and cancelled one, the website gives you the ability to select which tickets on which journey you want refunded, choice of reason - Money back guarantee in my case - and a total amount to be refunded.

Leave station on route.

A question about : Leave station on route.

I have a return train ticket from Hull to Harrogate. On the way back I am going to change at Leeds.

Now the question is whilst I am changing trains at Leeds I have 30mins, so can I leave through the barriers to go and get some food and return to get my train or will the barriers not let me through as my journey doesn't end there?

railcard + excess ticket charge- will i get my money back?

A question about : railcard + excess ticket charge- will i get my money back?

Hi,

I bought a railcard three days before traveling to Cardiff, the ticket staff gave me my photocard and a piece of cardboard that looked like a ticket receipt, with the date and cost etc.

I have never bought a railcard before and I was not told by this staff member the 'railcard' [plural] is in fact BOTH the photocard and piece of cardboard.

Long story short I got hit for excess on the return trip from Cardiff.

East Coast Rewards Closure

A question about : East Coast Rewards Closure

I have just had an email with the said news that East Coast Trains rewards scheme will be closing and being replaced by Virgin and Stagecoach with lousy Nectar Points!

As you may be aware, the Department for Transport (DfT) recently announced that a company led by Stagecoach and Virgin will take over the East Coast Main Line franchise from 1 March 2015. The new company will be called Virgin Trains East Coast. We are emailing you to let you know about the new owner’s plans for the existing East Coast Rewards loyalty scheme.
