A question about : Diamond Resorts-is it a scam?

I have had an unsolicited letter from 'Diamond Resorts' offering me a 2 night break in a luxury apartment in the UK (Devon/Staffs/Lake District) for Ј69, just for listening to their 90 minute sales pitch (timeshare).

Now, I have NO intention of ever buying a timeshare, but is it worth that 90 minutes for a super-cheap break? My 'too good to be true' radar suggests it probably is a bit rubbish, but has anyone else used them? Any cautionary tales etc?

Something that occured to me today (Saturday). I went onto the Barclays website to pay off a credit card, with the intention of the payment going out on Monday, thus retaining two days interest.

Not sure if this has been covered before:

ntl increased their TV pack prices (amongst other things) from 23rd May 2004.

I received a letter from their Director of Television in April detailing these changes. In that letter, a mention was made of a Ј3 discount for the first two months.

A question about : Holday VIPs

Has anyone heard anything about this organisation? I got a letter from them saying I could go on a free holiday if, in return, I wrote a "short truthfull letter ...telling us about your holiday. We will then use this as feedback to promote our company." They then go on to ask for an admin fee of Ј35 and you also have to go to their holiday show in Coventry to talk about the holiday you want.

What do you do to get this company to reply to your Emails ?

I sent Three DVD'S back to them, I know they recieved them because one has been taken off the account, also!I have a reciept, the others I am still being charged for, why ? they won't reply to tell me.

Their records show that I have ordered less full priced recordings !than I actually have, so the account can never be closed and I will continue to receive there recommended recordings. Why ?
