A question about : Please read if you are self-employed

Hello forumites

We just wanted to let you know that our colleagues at Business Debtline are launching their new, fully revamped website today:

www.businessdebtline.org

Those of you familiar with the old version would probably agree it was showing its age a little! The new site is very similar in look and feel to the National Debtline site. That means features such as:

- A digital version of the “Dealing With Your Debts” information pack

- Interactive budget sheets – for both business and household expenses

- A library of fact sheets on a wide range of debt matters, both business-related and personal

- Sample letters for you to use when dealing with creditors

- Simple, jargon-free guides to the key aspects of setting up, running and even shutting down businesses

…and much, much more. We know how difficult it can sometimes seem for the self-employed to get free advice and support that is tailored to their needs, so we are really hopeful that the new site goes some way towards addressing that.
Please check it out when you have the time – we’d be very happy to hear your feedback, whether here or on Twitter:

@natdebtline

@biz_debtline

Thanks for reading!

Dennis

  • Thanks for letting everyone know Dennis.
    To flag this up to as many forumites as possible we're moving the thread over to our Small Biz board but leaving a re-direct so it can be seen here too.

  • Great site - however a lot of business go under as they are not paid money THEY are owed by businesses - hence falling into debt. A page and sample letters trying to avoid that situation and getting money owed into the business would be great
