A question about : Pay Pal's own credit card sends emails
I see from a This Is Money Newsletter that Pay Pal's own credit card sends you an email every time your PP credit card is used.
This seems a simple, but very good piece of security and a convenience.
With similar for my debit card I would feel a good deal more secure.
If anyone has personal experience of Pay Pal's own credit cards please add some details, I have been through the MSE Credit Card Forum threads for Pay Pal, but haven't found anything about emails.
Best answers:
- The only PP credit card that I can find via google is the one that "only U.S. residents with a U.S. PayPal account can apply" for.
- The PayPal credit card was closed down in the UK a few years ago. I had one, but they wrote to say that it was ending in the UK and that Santander would be collecting payments from anyone with an outstanding balance. Anyone with a paid off card, like me, just lost the card.
It did email and text when you used the card, which was brilliant.
