Grounds for Appeal

A question about : Grounds for Appeal

Hi
I hope somebody can help with this. We've just got a parking ticket from Enfield Council for being parked in a special enforcement area adjacent to a dropped footway.

My husband had parked slightly in front of a dropped slope on the pavement (the one's with the bumps on them). There were no signs, lines, or any other indication of parking restrictions, just a normal suburban road.

We would like to appeal. Does anybody have any suggestions for the grounds for appeal.
Many Thanks
m

Parking eye fine

A question about : Parking eye fine

My wife has recieved a parking fine from Parking Eye. It is for an overstay in an retail park on a Sunday at 1800! The paperwork does not give the full address of the retail park, and we were with friends of ours who stayed the same length of time but have not recieved fines. Does anyone think I have grounds for an appeal? I ask because we have just recieved the final notice for payment and I'm unsure what to do next.

Thanks, Ozzy

WARNING Avoid Changegate Car Park, Haworth. Notorious for Clamping

A question about : WARNING Avoid Changegate Car Park, Haworth. Notorious for Clamping

This is a warning about the UK's most notorious car park, run by Car Stoppers in Haworth, W. Yorkshire.

The company has a well documented reputation for clamping for a wide range of trivial and ridiculous reasons and charging disproportionately excessive fines. Their agressive working methods are widely reported by the local media. After clamping Betty Boothroyd, last October (for displaying her ticket the wrong way round), their activities are currently being discussed by MP's.
