A question about : Noddle Report

Hello and hope I am posting in the correct area.

I have been a lurker on this site for the past few months and have delurked to ask a couple of questions of late trying to get my finances in order.

I now have another question. I recently signed up to Noddle (as recommended by others on here) to look through my credit report and have noticed that Confused.com have searched my file as recently as 29 November 2012. I remember using this site a few months ago although can't remember why now. I know I shouldn't pay too much attention to the scores etc but why would they do this? Can I stop them? I don't want companies searching my credit file particularly if I have not applied for any credit. It says 'Administration Review' for the purpose. Does anyone know what this means?
