A question about : No response to CCA request

Just after a bit of advice please.

I submitted a CCA request to Arrow Global, as they recently appeared on my credit file... By the looks of it they have taken over the debt.

I sent in the initial CCA request with the Ј1.00 fee, to which I received no response. I have since sent in a 2nd letter stating they are in default etc, and have 14 days to respond. What do I do next, if I then don't hear from them?

TIA

Best answers:

  • What's the debt for?
    When was account taken out?
When did you last pay towards this?
You are sure its your account?
    Did you send signed for?
Sorry about all the questions, but necessary for a decent response.

  • why send a cca request on a debt you dont know about? should have just been a demand to prove it or remove the default
  • Ok, chances are they will be able to dig up a decent CCA on a debt that recent. At some point.
Still, they haven't complied with your request, so ignore them til they do. Any further letters, remind them of their obligation to send you the CCA and to !!!!!! off til they do so.
  • So can I not pursue them any further for not responding to my CCA request?
  • They are a new company taking over the debt, so I want to ensure they have the correct paperwork to take it, if not, I want them to sod off and remove the default associated with it.
  • may get them to sod off but doubt you will get the default removed
  • Man Arrow Global are good at delaying things.
Got a letter through, with my original Postal Order attached saying that my address I've put on my letters don't match what they have on their system, even though I have spoken to numerous people recently before the letters who have confirmed my address is correct.
    Where do I stand now?
  • As it's your account, sit back, relax and when the write to ask why you haven't paid and are ignoring their letters, just photocopy the letter they just sent, post it and feel smug
  • lol the idiots need to make up their mind
