Fran's idea - who's up for a night out MSE style?

All suggestions for location, date / time etc...

I'll start by proposing Cardiff

Best answers:

• Date next Tues 11th, Weds 12th or Thurs 13th - of March?! (No point in hanging about....)
• Tues or Weds are good for me! (Can do Thurs at a push, but I normally do voluntary work...)
• Have you got any venue suggestions?
• Tee-hee, anyone else coming on board? Not much of a meet-up with just me and Fran! (no offence, Fran)
  I don't know Cardiff yet, so open to suggestions
• i'd love too but i have too much work on at the mo
• OOOH I only just saw this would have been great but i am fully booked this week, nothing exciting just baby sitting and parents meetings, but i thought a lot more would of been interested Fran & Badger-lady:confused:

  Interested, but depends where/when/what.
  I don't "do" loud or crowded places except under some special criteria.
• Will it be a day meet or night meet ?
• I suspect probably an evening meet..? Open to all suggestions though!

• In the absence of any substance so far, I went to the Spice Merchant last week. Overpriced imho for the actual meal, and not that great. I was disappointed.
  However, they do do an "All you can eat" Buffet for Ј7.50. And I figure that's the kind of deal it's hard to turn down. Might be better.

  7 days a week. 12-5pm, which would meet varying needs of daytime/any day. After 5pm though the prices rocket and it's not worth the money.
  Anybody got any other suggestions?
  I've fancied having a go on one of those water taxis too.
  And I believe there is ice skating down the Bay somewhere.
• ^^ That all sounds fabby... think I might struggle to get off work before 5pm on a schoolnight though
• I'm up for this, can virtually come any time. Would suggest Spice Route rather than Spice Merchant,in my opinion, much better, but I really don't mind. Keep me posted.
