A question about : Potty training

My son has been potty trained for almost a month now. However over the last week he has had lots of accidents - all dirty ones at least once a day. I've found it frustrating because he had it and now I feel we've taken 5 steps backwards. He knows what he's supposed to do when I ask What do you do if you need a wee/poo? He'll say Go on the toilet and he asks when he need a wee.

A question about : help with teenage boy xmas presents.

my 14 yr old has told me he doesnt know what he wants , so he is getting surprises. just after a few ideas please for something other than dvd's cd's games .
he already has a scooter, skateboard. bike is a no go.
budget of around Ј100 but would rather get more than one thing for that.

A question about : Free Audiobook Apps for iphone For Kids In Cars!

I found loads of free books for my kids to listen to in the car on our way on holiday - they can listen for freeto the audiobooks on their iphones or other devices ( fed up with 'free' apps which actually aren't once you get through to their site!!) This one actually is! I got Jungle Book, Alice in Wonderland, Huck Finn and The Secret Garden! but theres loads more! Older kids and students might like real genuine Gothic Fiction like Dracula, Frankenstein or War Of The Worlds or GCSE or A Level texts?

Have no idea if this is the right board to put this (suspect not) but thought Mum's may be the best to advise.

I've just managed to smash my iron (stored at height & fell onto kitchen floor, which is tiled) - really at myself.

Funds tight being this time of year and looking for recommendations of a decent but not too expensive iron.

Any suggestions? TIA

A question about : sorry ive been away!

Ive been away from MSE for agesssss now. Im so sorry to those that were folling my threads and giving advice. Its been a horrid few months.
Ive started divorce proceedings and the legal orders for the kids/ the house so its been so stressful and on to of that ive had a 5000 word dissertation proposal to start.
The kids and I are in councelling once a week now and its helping so much to deal with the trauma of what ex hubby did and now actually we are really settled and in a pretty good routine.

A question about : Using evaporated water from tumble dryer

As daft as it may sound, I am trying to find good uses for the water that we would ordinarily throw away from our condensing dryer. We use this water for topping up the iron at present (saves having to buy distilled water) so as to avoid the build up of limescale.
