in the process of finding a decorator to do some painting and decorating i am stripping the wall paper my self so far had two different quotes has follows

Decorater one
Lounge
To prep woodwork
To emulsion 2x Matt white ceiling
To wallpaper 4x walls
To emulsion walls x2 coats
To satin paint white woodwork
Total inc white paints Ј425
Exc paint Ј395

Large Bedroom
To repair plaster wall adj to door frame
To repair ceiling
To emulsion 2x Matt white ceiling
To wallpaper 4x walls
To emulsion walls x2 coats
To satin paint white woodwork
Total inc white paints Ј325
Exc paint Ј295
To repaper ceiling extra Ј50

Little Bedroom
Same spec as per Large Bedroom
Total inc white paints Ј225
Exc paint Ј195

Grand Total Ј885
Inc white paints Ј975

Decorater two has above but total cost Ј480.
both have said they will supply the gloss and emulsion for cellings.
any advice please.

• Decorator one is more what I'd expect and would say is a reasonable cost based on description, decorator two, far too cheap imo things will be rushed at that cost.
• thanks Reece i had two more Quotes yesterday and they were both around the first one so will go for that one.
