Sometimes no matter how hard you try to save money you are sometimes caught out...

last week with staff discounts, best rate guarantees and, of course, advice on MSE I saved about Ј30 on hotels, parking..

today, I sat in my office doing a task that could have been postponed, got back to my car 2 hrs 30 mins after I'd parked it (in a 2 hour zone), and guess what - got ticketed! Ј25 if I pay in next 2 weeks.

My own fault...

Please please tell me I'm not the only one!

• your lucky - it is nature that is against me! had 220.00 in savings in feb when the fences blew down in high winds (4 out of five panels - 2 posts broken) cost Ј210.00, oh well Ј10 in savings account, 3 months later saved a further Ј50 pounds in savings account, and wasps move into my wall cavity and are getting into to the bathroom in the 100's - Ј50 pounds to get them gassed... i'm getting too scared to add to the savings account as somthing goes wrong and i am left with Ј10.
