A question about : Anyone Purchasing Property From Ambasun Bulgaria?

I am currently in the process of purchasing a studio apartment in Bulgaria from Ambasun (we entered into this before the credit crunch!).

I have received letters from Delagio who are the builders of the development to say that they have terminated their contract with Ambasun because they were not passing on clients money to them but any future payments should go directly to them.

A question about : To those BUYING in these difficult times....

There seems to be a need for a seperate thread.

I'll post an update later on but things are not looking good on the mortgage front for us seems like a good salary and a good credit record are not enough

A question about : Buyers are camped in our garden over Christmas

Hi y'all,

Bit of an off one here, so just wondering what we should do.

Last October we sold our home in Dinas Powys to a couple from Devon. We pushed them for exchange and it is taking its time. We are due to exchange on 4th Jan, hoping to complete the Friday following.

Anyway, we thought we were in a chain, but they turned up at our house (and parked in our drive) in a touring caravan. Turns out they exchanged and completed today on their sale as they hated so much where they lived.

Please, please give us any advice you can as we had never rented through an agent before and don't know what to do right now.

We paid deposit of £625 to letting agent 2 years ago and did full inventory when we moved in, flat reasonable order but dated, no major faults but we noted old carpet, stains, chipped paintwork etc.

A question about : Vendors pull out AFTER exchange of contract

Hi all

Hoping someone can give me some advice on where we stand with something - I'm ruddy livid right now!

In short, we exchanged contracts on a house 4 weeks ago. The vendors wanted a long period until completion to arrange their move. Completion was tomorrow. Today we had a call from the solicitors saying the vendors have pulled out with no reason given. Needless to say we are gobsmacked, we were picking up the keys tomorrow!
