Homebase sofas

A question about : Homebase sofas

Has anyone any experience of buying sofas from Homebase?

I saw nice leather Schreiber sofas in our local Homebase and if I order online tomorrow I'd still get the 15% off but I am wary as I know that Homebase, Argos etc. don't have a brilliant reputation when it comes to certain items.

As it's a Schreiber sofa, would this make you feel a bit more confident in purchasing it?

• Schreiber is just a brand name owned by argos , could be made by anybody
• Thank you for your replies, it's so difficult to know what to do, and I need to decide today to get the Ј165 off! It's such a big investment and one I hope would last for many years. When you read reviews, they're very mixed.
• if they offer free returns then go for it, personally i would buy from a shop as i like to try and buy on things like sofas and beds, does a homebase or argos have the one you are after on display ? my local homebase has about 3 sofas on display
• what is the sofa you are after do u have a link please
• Customer return for half the cost says "Large and Large" so presume 2x 3 seaters ? , not sure if they are local to you, but there are some real life images that may help your decision

• Thank you for that deano, but unfortunately I would have to have a medium and a large as I couldn't fit two large sofas in my living room.
