Homebase Plus card for over 60s

A question about : Homebase Plus card for over 60s

In the Cambridge Homebase store a couple of days ago, we were offered the Homebase Plus card for over 60s. It gives you 10% off plus double Nectar points on Tuesdays.

This is the first we've heard of it, can't find anything on their website and we've never seen it in our local store (Selly Oak, Birmingham) but were told it should be valid there. We'll find out soon ...

• PS - did find what appears to be an online application form for the card at modelcitizens.wufoo.com/forms/r1cv5lc41srbik0/, it asks the same questions as the paper form, but as this isn't on or linked from the Homebase website it may be a scam, don't recommend you try it!
• Be careful when using it as B&Q don't allow the discount off items in special offers. These can be more than 10% off , but you can't rely on two discounts together.
• No it cannot be used at B&Q. I was referring to B&Q's policy which may apply in Homebase's case too.
• The Homebase plus card is only a trial currently being run by certain Homebase store which is why you haven't seen much about it yet
