A question about : Wetherspoons New Food Items

Wetherspoons have burritos and fajita wraps on their menu's. I have tried the burrito (no meat option as im vegetarian) the fajita wraps looked ok too plenty of people were ordering these new items. The burrito comes with 3 small bowls of dips which are guacamole, soured cream and hot salsa there is a meat free option and the meat one is beef. The fajita wrap is refried beans and cheese with hot salsa sauce for the vege option and chicken for the meat one yu have a choice of side salad or chips for an extra Ј1 with the fajitas.

A question about : Service charges and the law

My boyfriend and I recently went into a restaurant which was participating in the Taste card 50% off your food bill promotion, which we checked before sitting down for our meal.

When we got the bill the 50% had been taken off for food (Ј21.50) and Ј5 had been added for our drinks, taking the total to Ј26.50. The restaurant had then added Ј7.50 service charge making the total Ј34. We thought charging us this much service charge on effectively a Ј26.50 bill was excessive so we paid Ј30 and prepared to leave.

A question about : Tipping

Have done in the past, not so much now. Most of the time I wont.

Last time I tipped was 5% in a michelin starred restaurant. Not because service was bad, it was excellent, just that i thought any more was excessive.

If i went to a country where it was the culture to tip then I would but here in blightly is seems certain jobs traditionally get it and other jobs don't.

A question about : what meals do you like when out?

I am in process of buying a gorgeous country pub,that does well with food. I am curious as to what are the most popular meals people order when they go out for a meal.
The food we will be doing is similar to what is being served now..proper food,not ping and ding.
Do you prefer real chips or frozen? I find kids prefer frozen!!cooked obviously!
My fav is chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cheese and bbq sauce on top.mmmm
