A question about : Flight to NZ

Hey all

I am planning on going to NZ Christmas time to stay with a friend. I know this is a more expensive time of year to go than normal but I'm ok with that. I have been looking at different flights and airlines and would like the lovely MSEr's to give me some help/advice. I've been looking at websites like kayak and expedia so far.

I'm slightly flexible with dates of travel. I want to go for around 16-18 days. Departing earlist date 16th Dec and returning latest date Jan 6th. I will be a lone female traveller, aged 27.

A question about : Ryanair charged me for a transaction they said failed... now what?

Two nights ago I was booking a flight with Ryanair for my girlfriend, who is coming over from Dublin to stay for the weekend (she doesn't have her own debit card, so I was paying for the flight for her). Ryanair's website was very slow throughout the whole process, but at the very final step (payment authorisation) it took a good 2-3 minutes before finally displaying an error page saying:
An Error Has Occurred

A question about : Nationwide

I thought I must be going mad as so many of you have Nationwide accounts for going abroad and the moneysaving article still recommends opening an account for this purpose, that I must be missing soemthing when it says you have to transfer everything to them....So I have double checked and it still says that. So do most people just have a Nationwide account anyway? Or do you transfer one or two direct debits to meet the opening criteria? :confused:

I'm trying to book a flight on jet2.com but seem to have come across a problem. Just wanted to see if anyone knows and can help.

Once you have selected the flight you want, it asks for your title, first name and surnmame. I have put in the first name and the surname, but it's as if the website does't think the surname is long enough. It keeps saying make sure it is over 2 letters long, it's actually 9 characters long, and has no spaces...

A question about : Strategy for expensive flights!

Hi all,

We will be flying to Mumbai from London area for the last week of October, then back from Goa a week into November. (Wedding) Having checked every site I can find, it's looking like Ј900-1000 for the pair of us. We're hoping to go direct there but we can't avoid a stop on the way back.

So my questions would be (from all you seasoned fliers - I have never spent that much on a holiday, let alone flights!)

Have noticed that ryanair are still offering flights from bournemouth to barcelona reus on 28th july - 4th august for Ј4 quid each way no booking fees or online checkin fee, if anyone still looking for cheap holiday during summer school hols.
