• Main thing is to keep checking as with those people who checked out the BT 17inch Relisys TV deal a few weeks ago.
  It's a long shot, but try your local Dixons, there is no mention of this being an on-line special.
  So I say: March into Dixons and say I want my Rio for Ј119!! (Well, we can but try and god knows Dixons owe us something good in return for trying to shift those pesky coverplans on us! ;-) )

  They are selling 512MB mp3 players for Ј99,
  yet for Ј20 extra you can get this 20gig beauty.
  Oh yes, also works as an ethernet device on the network!

  Popped into the Victoria Street, Victoria, London branch of Dixons and they have them in stock - but for how long?

  What might be a good idea is to use the Store Locator feature on the Dixons website and give your local branch a call and see if they will hold one back (the idea being they have one in stock!)

• At the risk of losing the chance to buy this, the Croydon store has three in stock.
  They won't hold one in stock for me, beacause they say it isn't a big seller. I can only go on the weekend, but don't want to let anyone else lose out because it is in stock there.
  BTW it is selling for Ј119.99 there.

• Got one yesterday in Maidstone Dixons fantastic! I know for a fact they have some there also in Chatham and at Holborn. And was cheeky and pushed for in-car converter which i got 1/2 price. Love this money saving lark! ;D
• Bear in mind , though , that it has no remote device you will have to keep looking in your pocket etc for the song to play next . Handy to have.............
• One in stock but it is the display model hmmmm
  I e-mailed them and got told:
  "Unfortunately we are unable to tell when we may get any more stock of this product, as our system isn't showing a due in date. We would advise you to continue checking our website www.dixons.co.uk , or contact your local store."
  Will wait and see if / when they got more in stock. The store told me they should have more in next Weds.

• I managed to get one today in Dixons in Poole. They still had one left & there were 2 in Currys in Poole. They checked a few stores around the south & most seemed to have 1 or 2 in. I think they said there were some in stock at Salisbury, Bognor Regis & Isle of Wight!
