One of them is that those who switch to a dual fuel deal via Uswitch will get a case of free wine (see the guide for more info). Yet some MoneySavers have reported problems with getting the voucher for the free case of wine.

A question about : Economy Energy, who are they?

Who are these people? Never heard of them, had a rep stop me in the street a few days back and I gather they only offer prepay and the rep told me THEY supply the energy, nobody is behind them like Sainsburys Energy and BG for eg, but their website seems vague!

A question about : Cheapest way to use the immersion heater

We have a temporary problem with the gas powered hot water and heating. In the short term we are using the electric immersion for hot water.

Does anyone know if it is more economical to

leave it on all the time
switch it on as needed
switch it on for a fixed period each day?

There are three of us with the usual needs for baths and a washing machine.

A question about : e.on Fixonline 8

Quite a lot of us in here are on the rather well-priced e.on Fixonline 8 tariff which finishes on 1 July.

There's no way I'll be staying with e.on on any of the tariffs they're presently offering us, so I'm starting actively to look around to switch - and with the cashbacks on offer for switching to another company e.on are going to lose a lot of customers. The cashback will more than cover any cancellation fee.

What would approximate annual cost of gas and elec be for a 3 bedroomed house, based on 2 adults and a kid?

I'm trying to estimate how much it would cost and incorporate it into outgoings so i could incorporate into budget?

A question about : Scottish Power fixed price to 2011

I am current on Capped Price dual energy offer which is due to finish 3oth April and they have offered a fixed price to 2011 but with extra cost of Ј1.50 per month on each. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether it is good value, please?
