Statute barred debts and the Limitation Acts

A question about : Statute barred debts and the Limitation Acts

Statute Barred debts.

A debt will be Statute Barred if there has been no acknowledgement of the debt by you making a payment or in writing within the relevant limitation period.

The debt would then be legally UNENFORCEABLE.

If you are in England/Wales then the limitation period is 6 years and you should read:

help with Cabot ccj

A question about : help with Cabot ccj

Hi I have received a ccj claim this morning for a old welcome finance secured loan taken out in 2007 we have since lost our house.
Now the second charge was passed on to Cabot which is what I need information about.
I have never received a default notice for this debt which is Ј36308.5.
The particulars of this claim read
By an agreement between welcome finance and the defendant on or around 29/03/2007 then it goes on to say that we didn't keep up with the repayments ect.

0% Credit Cards

A question about : 0% Credit Cards

I was wondering, can anyone apply for a 0% Credit Card or do they have strict T&C's? I have one credit card with Lloyds with just under Ј2k on, however the APR is really high on it so I want to do a balance transfer to a CC with 0% or low APR.

Thanks
