Hi, i am looking to transfer maybe Ј300-500 a month from the uk to a resident in thailand and im looking for the cheapest option. tried paypal once, took too long and was expensive. any help appreciated

Can anyone tell me the best way to buy Euro's in UK. Just acquired Halifax Clarity for holiday to Crete in August. Should I use this over the counter to buy Euro's as it seems to have the best rate according to this website, or just good ole fashion cash?

A question about : Regular transfer Ј to Euro

Hi

I have a Euro mortgage for a property in Crete. I have to regularly transfer 600 Euro, pretty much each month. I currently do so via my Halifax current account. If I'm honest, I don't know what exchange rate I get and I also pay a Ј9.50 fee each time!

Any suggestions on cheaper/more cost affective ways to transfer?

Does this mean the rate I see now won't be the rate I get when I actually collect it?

I am off to holiday in US this September. Recently, I have read about these cash passport mastercards which seems like a good idea instead of carrying cash dollars.

Can somebody please, share their experience of using one and also recommend a decent one to get please.
