A question about : Credit Score, Electoral Roll
Ok, not sure where to put this so hope its ok!
I had an Excellent Credit score up till about 2 years ago when I decided to 'opt out' of the Edited register. I have been told that this does not affect your credit score but I was with experian and my score went down.
I then applied for a car loan and could not be located, this is because a lot of companies use the edited register.
I have no other explanation for my credit rating lowering, I have never missed a payment, had not got a new loan or credit card. Had not moved home and experian website said my credit rating was lowered because I could not be located!
Noddle are telling me this does not affect it, but I beg to differ, so beware! Even on my Experian Credit report it said it was, takes ages to get back on!
Can anyone back this up?
