A question about : Credit Rating Agencies
At the start of the year after checking into my low credit report scores I began cleaning my credit records of duplicate accounts etc and asking creditors to remove defaults which were really old for low amounts. Whilst creditors have compeltely removed some defaulted accounts from my experian account, they mystifyingly offically tell me they haven't. They also have not removed these accounts from my Equifax report. So they have removed them from one credit file but not another. The Call credit one is pretty clear but I only checked that this week. Why have they not removed these from all my files if they are prepared to remove it from one? Anyone know?
Best answers:
- Not all creditors will report or update all 3 credit references agencies. You can contact the credit reference agencies for further device/assistance if needed to correct errors too so might be worth a shot.
