Say no to 0870, 0844, 0845! Call them for free!

A question about : Say no to 0870, 0844, 0845! Call them for free!

I have a great site for everyone to use...

Instead of calling expensive numbers starting with 0870,0845,0844 that aren't FREE with your mobile contract- the site has a list of alternative numbers (landlines) you can call.

Washer dryer fault, within warranty but discontinued

A question about : Washer dryer fault, within warranty but discontinued

Hi all
About 18 months ago I bought a Samsung washer dryer which had a 5 year manufacturers warranty. It has recently developed a fault, leaking all over the floor. An engineer diagnosed the fault but couldn't do anything as the model and all parts are now discontinued.

How long should a computer 'tablet' last

A question about : How long should a computer 'tablet' last

In December 2013 we bought, as a Christmas present for our daughter a Samsung tablet computer thingummyjig.

It has now just stopped working.

I know the guarantee states 12 months only, but is 14 months a fair length of time for one of these to last.

Wasn't there some case recently, when somebody had bought an item, I think a TV and the courts said the shop had to replace / repair it even thought it was out of 'their warranty' stating that EU law said an item must last a decent length of time

Complicated online consumer rights issue

A question about : Complicated online consumer rights issue

Ok, so I have bought a few things from Joss and Main before and really liked what I got.
A few days ago I bought a mirror.
Today the box arrived but the mirror was a completely different style to the one I ordered, not the same shape or colour even. Plus, all the glass was smashed.

Cancelled order but they have dispatched anyway!

A question about : Cancelled order but they have dispatched anyway!

This is a little rambling, apologies for that...

I bought a voucher code for Ј17.99 from 'GoGroopie' for a dash-cam for my partner's birthday. I thought what great value. The dashcam was priced at Ј69.99 and I was going to get it for Ј17.99 + Ј4.99 p+p.

So I bought the voucher from 'GoGroopie', redeemed it and purchased the actual item from the company 'eBuzz World'.
