A question about : New hp Laptop problems

I bought a new laptop for dh for Christmas arrived 24th Dece. Shortly after this the fan or what sounded like the fan started to make an horrendous vibrating sound.
My husband rang hp and they said to return it to them to be fixed.
They collected the laptop on the 7th January. This was the last we saw of it.

I found these forums after finding a post in which one of my own unhappy customers was venting his spleen about our service (or lack of customer service). Fortnately it's a rare occurance. But I put myself in his shoes, and thought what would I do in the same situation. Then It dawned on me that I look on it from another side, mostly being the seller, so whenever I have a problem, I have some insider knowledge that most shoppers dont.

A question about : What happens next CCJ?

I have just been to Taunton County court regarding a claim I put in for a holiday cottage that was disgusting. I have been awarded my claim for all my money plus costs back. The defendant didnt turn up in court. What happens now. The judge did say that he had 14 days to pay. Do the courts get in touch with him and tell him to pay? Does he send the money to me? As I have never had anything like this before not sure of the procedure. Could anyone advise me the next step.

A question about : Laptop problems. Exchange or repair?

Hi all, I need some advice as not sure what to do

I bought a toshiba laptop last week from my catologue.
On trying to use works word processor, some features will not work. It tells me some files may be corrupt and re-install works. (didnt come with a disk to re-install so not an option)
I rang toshiba yesterday and the bloke was lovely but said he would have to go through a process which is long and they only do as a last resort. ( i have to ring back today if i want to do it)

A question about : Booking Fee's on Cash Payments

I have recently purchased some concert tickets to see Michael Ball in Sheffield. I went in person to the box office and paid cash. You can imagine my shock to find that I was charged a 10% booking fee!! Does anyone know if this is legal. I cant believe that they can make money from me paying cash.

• The face value of the ticket goes to the event promotor. Your booking fee would be to cover the costs of running the box office.

A question about : Dreams Beds Credit Voucher

I ordered and paid a deposit for a mattress from Dreams in a local shop branch. They called me when it was ready to be delivered to arrange a date.

Just after this, though, I lost my flat and needed to move back in with my parents. This means I dont need the mattress and have nowhere to store it!!
