Husband has daughter who is 14 and we have 2 sons. we have to pay Ј239.00 under the csa1 as of now following a 4 year nil assessment. After the birth of our first son.

I have not disclosed my income so they based it my husband alone. I was told by them I need to be earning less Ј250.00 a month then I am now in order for it to return to a nil balance.

A question about : Is this Right?

4 years ago I split from my ex wife, we weren't that well off I earned around Ј230 per week and she worked part time and eaned about Ј120.
Since we split I am now self employed and earn after tax around Ј400-Ј500 per week.
We have two children aged 11 and 6 and I pay Ј200 per month for them.
I have my kids twice a week and that has been really hard to secure as she has used them consistently to get at me, but that's another story and too long to tell here.
My question is this.

Oh well, for all you lucky people whose children turned 19 from sept onwards, good news!!!! the csa is raised to 20 as from december the tenth. It is applicable to all children under 20 including our lot who left the system from sept. Great news eh!!!!

A question about : Is it worth trying to get child support from this man?

I have a 6 month old baby who was the result of a relationship I had with a guy from Sicily. Her father left the UK when I was about 10 weeks pregnant because he was due to return to Sicily, where I understand he lives with his parents. He was very upset about news of the pregnancy, and though he contacted me after he left saying he wanted to see me, when he found out I was going to keep the child he refused to speak to me about it.

My partner is a sole trader and is not making much money, despite being very good at his job, and hasn't done so for many years. When we got together my partner and his ex had an informal financial agreement in place . But after a silly falling out she withdrew access to the children (from 3-4 nights a week down to 1) and went to CSA.
