New campaign

A question about : New campaign

Hi
I think we need to start being honest about the applying for disability benefits procedure since last April. Very few people have had claims agreed or even completed yet, and there has been nothing in the media. I know that is is really hard to admit you need this benefit for some of us, and for others chasing atos/other organisations is very tough, people are also worried if they make a fuss they wont get the benefit I think.
Any help from mse by making this a campaign would be a great start.

Can we suggest campaigns?

A question about : Can we suggest campaigns?

Because, if so, I would like to suggest that there is a campaign to end the booking fee charged by venues - because it's applied to each ticket bought, so 4 tickets = 4 x booking fee!

Please help save The Russell Hotel

A question about : Please help save The Russell Hotel

The Russell Hotel, Bognor Regis is a ‘not for profit’ hotel specifically built for blind and visually impaired guests. The hotel is being threatened with imminent closure because of under use and is currently “under offer of sale” to another charity who would like to extend their nursing home into new premises. The hotel staff and small group of blind and visually impaired regular guests are desperately hoping for a last minute reprieve for the hotel.
