A question about : Bournemouth ?

Hi

I need to go to Bournemouth in June for business , i want to keep away from the stag/hen hotels , has anyone got recommendations of the right area to be in for my purpose that means i might get a nights sleep ?

I have read east cliff is an area to aim for?

Nothing against partygoers but i`ll need my sleep!

Thanks

Best answers:

  • went to Mirimar for a wedding which was nice. Quiet too
  • Ramada Encore is on the main road down to the beach but away from the bars/clubs etc. Avoid the Roundhouse like the plague!!
  • I've used the ramada a few times and never had a problem either.
There is also a premier inn slightly off the beaten track ( not the one facing the beach) which I would imagine would be quiet.
  • West over road is the one facing the beach ( by pubs/cinema etc) so avoid that.
I think the one I was thinking about was Christchurch road, if I recall, it is fairly residential as between Bournemouth and Boscombe. Still walking distance to either towns though if you want a change if scenery of an evening.
  • thanks Manda , i appreciate that
  • Tripadvisor Bournemouth
  • We stayed in the Boscombe area last year (Liston Hotel) It was lovely and peaceful though it was just out of season (late September)
  • appreciate that and apologies
  • I've stayed at the Poole Rd Premier Inn and it seemed to be mainly business guests when I went (midweek, admittedly)
  • Menzies East Cliff hosts a lot of corporate clients. I've stayed there myself and it's a lovely hotel.
