A question about : Barclaycard transfer

My Barclaycard interest free period is coming to an end, but I have an chance to do another balance transfer on by Barclaycard that will be interest free until May 2016
Can i pay off my Barclay card with my nationwide credit card then transfer the balance back to Barclays to take advantage of this interest free until May 2016 ??

Best answers:

  • You can't pay a credit card with another credit card, so no.
Why not concentrate on paying down the balance rather than keeping spending on credit and transferring from card to card?
  • Hi mrwigan,
    Welcome to the forum.
Maybe think about doing a BT to Nationwide then back again. Although this will cost you the BT fee with Nationwide and then another fee with Barclaycard.
Have you asked Nationwide if they have any BT deals on offer for you. The worse they can say is 'no'.
The other thing you need to factor in is how much of it will be cleared before the 0% deal ends? Make a plan to see if you can clear it in the timescale, it will be better than moving it again in May 2016. (Moving debt around is not paying it off, you don't want to be stuck in a vicious circle).
    All the best
