A question about : Applied for new 0% card, was Refused
I applied for a new 0% rate card, after taking the pre check test here, which said there was a 9/10 chance of me getting it, but I was truned down for the card, so I am a little annoyed that this site had said I would be eligible.
Best answers:
- no , 9 out of 10 people in your situation would be accepted , not 10 out of 10
- Hi
Although I am retired with a pension income, I also do some self employed work and some part time occassional work. I put that I was self employed, do you think that this is why I was refused? - Usually when you apply for credit, they want you to have been self employed for at least 1-2 years and some will even ask you to prove your income. You'd be better off putting retired, as they know you should at least have a pension income.
